Nowadays, English has been developing into a global language. As a message carrier, English fully reflects the unique cultures possessed by the British and American countries. So we can simply divide it into two forms which are American English and Britain English. Each of them has their own unique characteristics. As far as I am concerned, I prefer American English. The reasons are chiefly as follow.   

First of all, when it comes to pronunciation, the pronunciation of American English sounds more comfortable. It is more colloquial, not as formal as Britain English. In other words, the American speak with a changeable intonation. However, the Britain speak as stiff as a poker. It seems that American English represents the casual attitude of the American on their life. Similarly Britain English reflects the rigorous work style of the Britain.
