there is an common phenomenon that many people ,especially women ,are being on diet .what gives rise to this phenomenon ? I think there are two mainly reasons
first ,with the growth in the living standard.people eat better and better .so someone who has a bad living habit would become fatter and fatter .then they begin to go on diet to lose weight.second ,some girls are strict with their firgure.they hope they will look beautiful ,therefore they choose to lose weight by eating less and even no dinner.
however,does diet work for weight loss? I don't think so.studies present that being on diet could control the weight temporarily .bur it does harm to our health in the long run .it would reduce the immune system and even lead to anemia.
so I suggest that people should be reasonable to go on a diet ,such as reducing the food intake suitably .and it's best to far away from the diet .
