Good morning! I boast of myself a precious chance to return to Alma mater where I can present a speech to you. You are the parts of China's most talented and motivated persons, who are representatives of the younger generation that are preparing themselves for the advent of the promising future. Your exuberance reminds me of myself in the same vitality and vigor in puberty. Facing the life sub-fork, you might wonder what the best approach to obtain success is in future. So to better fulfill yourselves, What I intend to tell you is just to seek out what you're clever at.

I received a devastating blow to my self-confidence in the first interview of my college years when I applied to being an announcer in our radio station and felt perky that I would be accepted. But one of the panel members told me: "you seem inadequate because of your accent. " My life has never been the same since. So I listened to the CCTV radio and imitated a lot, which turned out to be in vain since no matter how hard I tried to improve myself, no progress was made. I feel very frustrated and cannot help suspecting myself.

Yet in an unexpected time, I participated in a seminar about the Chinese ancient philosophers. It was a reading club where there were only about ten members. During the seminar activity, we read a lot of books and discussed the references twice a week. I just found that I could handle these quite easily since I had proficiency in absorbing the knowledge in individual study and group discussion. Our debate was so heating that even some of our teachers would like to join us. Concentrating myself on these activities where I had talents to promote myself, I have learned a lot, not only knowledge from the texts, but also the communication skills. So it is of vital importance to make clear of one’s potential and then maximize it.

Last but not least, each of us is an individual one and each of us is unique. As a saying goes: "Heaven has endowed me with talents for natural use. " So we must come up with what we are good at rather than just cater to others or go with the stream. Only when we realize our unique talent can we be triumphant. And we could use our unique abilities to create a more diverse universe.
