More and more people choose to read network novels other than literature in modern society. Maybe from their perspective, the former is more interesting and attractive than the latter. But in my point of view, literature is like a bumper and delicious feast and the network novels are no match for it. 
There is a great quantity of literature in the world. They remain from the past until now. We can see numerous advantages of it. First, the literature is the positive results of wisdom so that we benefit a lot after reading the literature. Second, it broadens our horizons and we can get much knowledge and become more intelligent. Third, we can improve our reading and writing skills by reading literature. The writers of literature are mostly the best writers in human's history.
