21st century is the century of technology. Nowadays, technology is everywhere around us, which is widely used and brings about lots of changes. The influences it have are positive and significant. According to Jones (2013)” The impact of technology on society is deep”.

First of all, technology has a good effect on communication. According to Smith (2015)”Owing to developments in technology, communication is wireless”. Cell phones become very popular, almost everyone has one. The invention of the mobile phones and computers all due to the technology so that we can make phones and search the Internet. People can send short messages by phones. What’s more, some applications in cell phones also help in communication. New electronic appliances have made our life simpler than ever before. If there is a Wi-Fi or data available, you can share your idea and your photos on those social media applications, such as QQ, We chat and Micro blog. So you can keep in touch with friends and parents whenever and wherever you want. People now can talk to strangers from all over the world and get to know different culture and customs. They also have better opportunity to learn foreign language. Also we will have more chances to befriend with others. According to Smith (2015)”Computer technology, needless to say, has changed the face of the world. The Internet that seeded from computer networking concepts is the most effective communication platform and the largest informational base existing today”. What calls for special attention is satellite, which seems like being far away from us but gives us lots of convenience on communication. In terms of our daily life, our study and work can’t go on smoothly without the support of technology. Many new products, such as weather and communication satellites, are also products of space programs, and they have benefited people all over the world. And what's more, scientific knowledge about outer space has been acquired by mankind. The journey to outer space and other planets is not a dream any more. Rockets and space shuttles can help us realize the dream of space travel. Science and technology has greatly broadened our vision and understanding of the material world level. As is shown by the case of synthesizing new elements, scientists are trying their best to do it. Some new elements that can’t be discovered have already been constantly synthesized.
