根据翻译专业本科教材，翻译共被划分为13个科目，包括了法律翻译、新闻翻译、文学翻译等。文学翻译是种特殊的学科，其余的可归为“实用翻译”。
二者****的不同点在于文学翻译是一个再创作的过程。丰富的中文知识和英文知识都应具备。中文用于为英语单词安排一个最贴切原文作者情感的汉语词汇并替代之，而英语单词的选择要依照“场合”而定，总之使其******英语国家的语言习惯。除此之外，文章的翻译之美要深达读者心中，就像寒冷的冬天升起的暖阳。
实用翻译更倾向于准确，英语自身是结构十分严谨的语言。语法、百科知识必须储备用于解决不同专业领域单词词组的翻译问题。
文学译者与实用译者之间也有差别。要成为文学译者，必然要有深刻的思维和敏锐的心绪，更要有创作激情。一旦激情消失了，文章的翻译便难以提高，但实用译者就不存在这种问题。他或她只要拥有流利的语速即可。
因此，二者的未来当然也不一样。实用翻译的****水平是成为****的口译员，这给了他们无尽的财富。文学翻译的****水平是创立翻译理论，引领整个翻译界发展方向。

Mentioning translation, we may think that it simply is interpreting or literature translation. Mentioning translator, we may think of Zhang Lu, a famous interpreter of ex-premier of China---Wen Jiabao, not Lin Yutang, the scholar in the twentieth century who wrote a well-known novel named “Moment in Peking”.
According to the whole textbooks of translation in undergraduate period, they are divided into thirteen courses such as statue translation, news translation and literary translation and so on. Literary translation is a kind of special course. The rest are called practical translation.
The biggest difference between them is that literary translation is a recreate course. Both Chinese and English literature knowledge are needed. The Chinese literature knowledge is used to choose a proper English word a correct Chinese expression to suitable to the author’s meaning. The choices of English word depends on the “occasion”, making the Chinese word match the usage in English-speaking countries. Besides, the beauty of the essays is all required to let reader deeply touched, just like the warm sun in the cold winter.
The practical translation focus more on accuracy, for English is an accurate language. The grammar, especially large encyclopedia knowledge are badly available to translate words or phrases in different majors.
There are differences between literary translator and practical translator. Being a literature translator, deeply thought and sensitive mind with passion should be gained. Once the passion has gone, the translation is hard to improve. However, this is not existed in practical translation. He or she just need a very fluent speed when talking.
Therefore, the future is various as well. The highest level of practical translation is being an excellent interpreter, making lots of money. The highest level for literary translators are to coming up with new theory, leading the whole translation major reaching a new point.
