Teaching aims:
To enable the Ss to master:Who’s your English teacher?
Mr. carter,What’s he like?He’s tall and short.
Teaching important:
How to describe persons.
Teaching steps:
Step 1. Preparation
1.Sing the song “My new teacher.”
2.Chant P2.
3.Free talk.
Eg:T:Who’s your Chinese teacher.S1:Miss Yan.
T:What’s she like?S1:She’s tall and thin.(建议两到三组对话)
Step 2. Pre—reading.
T:look,I have a photo.
What’s she like?
(show a photo on the screen)
Ss:she’s tall and thin.
T:I know,she’s my English teacher.
Step 3 In—reading.
1. General reading.
T:Today,Zhang Peng has three new teachers.”who are they?” Let’s look together.
Check answers.
2.Detailed reading.
T:Read again and find the answers.
Who’s Zhamg Peng’s English teacher?
What’s he like?
Where’s he from?
Check anseers.
3.Read and write.
Write important sentences on the Bb.
4.Listen and repeat.
5.read aloud.
Step 4 Post—reading.
1.Read and act the dialogue.
2.Show some teachers’photos on the screen.
Let’s Ss make a dialogue like “Read and write”.
Step 5 Progress.
1.Sum—up
“a”,”an”
“he”,”she”,”Mr.”,”Miss”,”Mrs”(学生总结,教师指导如何应用)
2.do exercises
I have some fruits.
