Teaching aims:
1.Master the words:kind funny young smart active strict.
2.To enable the Ss to master sentences:”Is she ?” Yes,she is.
Teaching important:
Master the words: kind  young  smart  strict  active.
Teaching difficulies:
The pronunciation of “university,strict”.
Teaching steps:
Step 1. Preparation
1.Sing the song “My new teacher.”
2.Free talk.
Eg:T:Who’s your science teacher.S1:Miss Yan.
T:What’s she like?S1:She’s old and thin.(建议两到三组对话)
3.Revise the words
Tall short young old kind strict strong thin funny.
(露出部分单词卡片猜单词)
Step 2. Presentation
1.Show my principal’sphoto on the screen.
T:Who’s he?S1:校长.
T:Yes,principal.(Teach “principal” on Bb)
T: Is he kind?  S1: No,he’s “厉害”.(通过动作展示单词含义)
T:Yes,he’s strict.( Teach “strict” on Bb)
Show “Edison’s ” photo.
He’s very smart.
Teach “smart” on Bb
Show University’student’s photo
Teach “university” on Bb
2.Show some teachers photo on the screen.
Is he kind? No,he’s strict.
Is he old? No,he’s young
3.Listen and repeat.
4.Read words aloud..
Step 3 Practice.
1. Read words cards one by one.
2.Look at words cards and guess words.
Step 4 Production.
Show some photos on the screen.
Introduce teachers.
Eg:This is my math teacher.
He’s young and tall.
He’s a university student.
He’s very funny. I love my math teacher.
Step 5 Progress.
1.Sum—up
2.do exercises.
3.Homework.
Prepare:Describe my English teacher.
