 1 、Sing the song: My days of the week:

 2、 Chant  P14 生听录音 试说

 3、 Free talk :A .What day is it taday?           B .It’s ……

             A .What do you have on …?       B .We have….  Ss work in pairs

 4 、Translate and spell the words: 星期一 星期二 星期三 星期四 星期五

1. Saturday

(1)T: The day after Friday is…?   教读：Saturday.（出示词卡）

    T:Can you guess how to write?  Ss: S a t u r d a y Saturday.

    Yes, S-a Sa t-u-r tur d-a-y day  Saturday 

（2）T: Saturday is fun for you .

What do you have on Saturdays?        Ss: I ofen…

T: Then , what do you do on Saturdays? Show me ,please!

让学生用动作来演示。教师出示单词卡片: do homework

SS read after T :What do you do on Saturdays? I do my homework.

（3)Ss work in pairs like this. Then check three pairs.

2 . Sunday

 (1) T: In China ,the first day of the week is Monday ,but in English--speaking countries ,can you guess what is the first day of the week?

Ss :Sunday. T: Shows the word card and reads it.

SS follow the teacher,then read one by one.

 (2) T: What do you do on Sundays?         Ss: I often watch TV.

T show the word card :watch TV  and read,Ss repeat.

(3) T: What do you do on Sundays?

S1: I often do my homework.

 S2: I often watch TV.

  S3: I often read books.

T show the word card : read books , teach .Ss spell the words.

3. T:（出示单词卡片）What day is it today?   Ss: It’s Saturday.

  T: What do you do on Saturdays?            Ss: I often ……

SS work in pairs like this .Then check.

1.          listen to the tape:

(1)               Just listen

(2)               Listen and repeat

(3)               Read the words in by yourselves

1. Make a survey:

Eg: What do you do on Saturdays ?

2. Story time

(1) Read by yourselves and answer the questions: What do they have on Wednesdays?  What do Zoom do on weekends ?

   (2) Listen to the tape;

   (3) Try to repeat story;

1. Sum-up: Saturday + Sunday = weekend

 注意What do you have on …? 和What do you do on …?的区别。

2. Do the exercises of this period;

3. Homework:  Let’s make a book (P22)  Then present to the class
