Steps:

1        Sing a song “My days of the week’’

2        revise: Monday  Tuesday Wednesday  Thursday  Friday  Saturday  Sunday  do homework  watch TV  read books （用词卡拼读）

3        Free talk:

T:  What do you have on Mondays？

Ss:  We have Chinese math English and music on Mondays .

Work in pairs

(1)  Talk about the pictures of “Let’s try’’

(2)   Listen and answer“What does Chen Jie /Mike do on Saturdays/Sundays?”

(3)   Check the answers

(1)Show:“play ping-pong ’’and “That’s great.’’

   T shows the ping-pong to Ss                                     .  

   T: What’s this?      Ss:Ping-pong .

   T: Yes ,I often play ping-pong

   Ss: I ofen play computer games on Saturdays.

   T: That’s great.
