Step 1 preparation
1.Free talk
T:Hello,boys and girls.Nice to see you again.
What’s the weather like today? When do you go to school? 板书句子:When do you go to school ?I go to school ……. What can you see on the road ? 利用图片复习单词bike,bus,train,plane,car,taxi,boat,jeep及foot。贴卡,板书单词。
欣赏歌曲”how do you go to school”
2.自由对话之后,教师继续说:“There are many ways to go somewhere. Look these pictures ,do you know what they are ? ”
教师把课本“Let’s start”上所呈现的交通方式的图画呈现给学生,并问同学们该如何用英语表达?
3.复习频度副词:always,usually,often,sometimes,never的读音与词义。有关活
动可借鉴五年级下册教师教学用书****单元。
【设计意图】设计意图:热身复习,通过一个个活动,练习与本课内容相关的内容,创设英语氛围,激发学习兴趣,温故知新,为新课学习做铺垫。
Step2: Presentation:
1.教师拿着一张公共汽车的卡片在手里,自问自答:“How do I go to school? I go to school by bus”并在黑板上写下:by bus。教师再重复刚才的句子并走到同学们中间问一位同学“What about you? How do you go to school?”学生如果回答:“Me too!”教师就继续问下一名学生,直到有不同的答案,教师帮助学生说出完整的句子:“I go to school by…”并将相应的短语写在黑板上。
2.教师让学生先看挂图,然后听录音,让学生跟读“Let’s learn”部分的内容,教师在学生跟读过程中要注意及时矫正学生在语音和语调方面的错误。
3.Let’s play
教师请学生制作简单的单词卡片,一部分是地点,一部分是交通方式。教师要鼓励学生大胆想象出行方式和所去地点。然后教师先和一个学生演练给大家看,然后有师生互动转换为生生互动,对于词汇表述上有困难的学生,教师要及时地提供帮助和指导,对一些特别有创意的想法,教师可以写在黑板上加以鼓励,也可发小红花以资奖励。
4.教师走下讲台,提问学生:“How do you go to school?”鼓励学生回答,并反问老师“How do you go to school?”,然后教师在黑板上贴上自行车,公共汽车,计程车的图片,并分别在后面两幅图的下面标上乘坐价格,如:1yuan,10yuan,回答说:“Usually I go to school by bike, because it’s good for my health. Sometimes I go by bus, because it’s cheap. Sometimes I go by taxi, because it’s fast, but it’s too expensive.”然后板书四会句子,学生跟读。
设计意图:利用实际生活中有关乘坐交通的经历作为教学资源,让学生在实际情景中学习新知识,形象直观,丰富了教学内容,便于学生接受,有利于使学生在实际生活中应用所学的知识。
Step 3: Practice
1.Let’s try
T:You may go to school on foot, by bike or by bus.How does Mike go to school ?Now let’s see together.
(1).引导学生仔细观察画面,请几位同学就画面进行描述。
(2).教师播放录音,学生听录音,选择。
(3)教师再次播放录音,订正答案。
2.Let’s talk
Now,You know how does Mike go to school,how about Sarah? listen and answer the questions.
a.How does Sarah go to school ? Why?
b. How does Liu Yun go to school ?
Listen to the tape twice ,then check the answers. 要求学生用第三人称回答:Sarah usually goes to school on foot.Sometimes she goes to school by bike. Her home is near.
Sarah’s home is near,so she goes to school by bike or on foot.But my home is far ,I go to work by bus,because it’s fast.How about you ?(通过肢体语言让学生理解far及fast的含义)引导学生进行练习。
听Let’s talk录音,学生跟读。之后分角色朗读。
设计意图:教师通过问题引导学生,使学生循序渐进地深入地理解对话。
Step 4. Production
1.教师把课本“Group work”的教学挂图呈现给学生,让学生模仿图画上的活动方式,四个学生一组,通过提问“How do you go to school?”了解同学用何种交通方式上学,并鼓励学生简单阐述原因,如:My home is near. It’s fast. It’s cheap.…
设计意图:通过本环节的练习,让学生真正做到了学以致用,培养了他们的知识运用能力和语言思维能力。
2. 教师事先准备一些打乱顺序的单词卡片,让学生读词后快速拼成正确的句子;或者空出重点词汇和短语,只给出开头****个字母作为提示,让学生填充句子。最后再让同学们写出完整的句子。
设计意图:通过以上的练习,让大多数学生掌握了所学,充分调动了学生学习的积极性,使大多数的学生都能参与练习,提高了他们的语言表达能力。
Step 5 Progress
1.Summary教师请学生自己总结本课所学的重点内容。

2.完成基础训练相应习题
Homework
看课本“Good to know”部分的交通标志,让学生试着用英语描述各个标志的含义,并完成课本相应的练习题。
