Step 1:Preparation
1.Greeting (T-Ss make dialogues)
教师出示交通工具图片,问:How do you go to school/Shanghai? /go home?学生结合图片回答:I go to school/Shanghai by bus/plane. T与S1进行对话 T: I want to go to Qinshui Park . How can I get to Qinshui Park? S1: You can go on foot /by bike. T: Is it far? S1: No, it’s not far. T: Thank you. S1: You’re welcome. 2. Let’s chant (P2)
先听录音唱,再师生有节奏地边拍手边唱,接着学生手拿交通灯道具,边唱边举不同颜色的交通灯道具并做动作。 3.教师出示单词卡片的另一面(单词面向学生),问:Do you remember what colour the bus is?让学生回忆这些图片中交通工具的颜色,组成a red bus等词组。
【设计意图:通过吟唱歌曲、听音chant 等活动,营造良好的英语学习氛围,让学生以较高的热情投入到英语学习中来。】
Step2. Presentation
1.教学traffic lights
教师出示自制的三个颜色圆片,问:What colour is it?并依次贴到黑板上。贴完后加上几笔,变成交通灯介绍:They’re traffic lights.并板书traffic lights学生练说并拼读.
Talk about the”traffic lights”
教师让学生四人小组讨论关于traffic lights的相关知识,并用traffic lights设计问题,比一比哪一组设计的问题好。
How many traffic lights?(Three)
What colour are traffic lights?(Red,yellow,green)
Where can you see at a red light?(on the road)
2.教学Stop at a red light
教师取红色圆片,问:What colour is the traffic lights now? What can you do? “It is a green light. I can go. Go-go。go! “It is a yellow light. I must wait.Wait-wait-wait! I can go in a moment.”提问学生:“The light is red。Call I go? No,no,no! It's dangerous !I must stop.Stop-stop-stop!”学生一般应能答出:red和stop,教师可板书完整的句子:Stop at a red light.拼读stop,并请学生设计动作,然后读一读,做一做。教师板书stop,wait,go在相应的交通灯旁。为了帮助学生区别stop与wait,可以适当使用汉语解释词义。
3.教学Remember the traffic lights rules
教师指着黑板上板书的三句话,介绍:T合约昂热traffic rules(板书:traffic rules)We must remember the traffic rules. Do you remember?
4.Let’s chant
教师出示自编的chant:Traffic rules, traffic rules,remember traffic rules.Look at the traffic lights,Stop,stop at a red light.Wait,wait at a yellow light.Go,go at a green light.让学生有节奏的朗读,并配上动作。
5.教师接着Let’s chant最后一句问:They go to Pairs by car,bus,or by plane. How can the man get to Dongfang Primary School?(出示Let’s try图片)Now let’s try.
6. 教师播放录音,学生根据老师的提问,结合图画找出问题的答案。
7. 教师就画面内容和学生进行问答练习,教师问: How can the man get to Dongfang Primary School?引导学生回答:He can go by&, nbsp;the No. 14 bus. 教师根据学生回答情况对表达几路汽车进行操练:How do you go to Oriental , Supermarket? I can go by the No.3 bus.8. 教师问:You can go by the No.3 bus. But how can Jim get to Zhongshan Park? Is Zhongshan Park far? Do you know?
同时将问题出示 a.How can Jim get to Zhongshan Park?
b. Is Zhongshan Park far? 听录音,回答问题。
【设计意图:利用实际生活中有关交通方面的知识作为教学资源,让学生在实际情景中学习新知识,形象直观,丰富了教学内容,便于学生接受,有利于使学生在实际生活中应用所学的知识。教师通过问题引导学生,使学生循序渐进地深入地理解对话。】

【设计意图:通过不同形式的操练,让学生熟练掌握并灵活运用所学词汇,通过活动操练新句型,创造情景进行演一演活动,激发学习兴趣巩固新知。】
Step4. Production
1.师生讨论不同的出行方式及其应当遵循的交通规则。
Eg:How do you go to school?
I go to school On foot.Can you tell me any traffic rules?
You must watch the traffic 1ights.
I go to school by bus.Can you tell me any traffic rules?
Don't run in the bus.
Don't stick your head Or arms out Of the window.
I go to school by bike.Can you tell me any traffic rules?
Don't go too fast.
Never go into the sideways.
2. 教师拿出自制的本城市简易地图,让学生根据本课时所学的句型词汇,两人或三四个人一组,编一个类似的对话并进行表演。
【设计意图:通过一定的语言情景,让学生在完成任务的过程中把语言知识转化为语言技能,运用所学语言沟通交流,让学生将所学的知识应用到实际生活中,达到学以致用的目的。】
