PEP Book 5 Recycle 1 第二课时

一、Teaching Contents: Read and write 2 Listen and circle Pair work
二、Teaching Aims:
1、 通过对前三单元语言的复习认读新句子, 如: My favourite day is Monday. My favourite teacher is … 并能在实际情景中进行运用。
2、 能够根据信件内容书写答语, 并根据个人情况回复信件。
3、学会用“  Would you like some…?”句型提问并作出回答。
二、Teaching Points:
重点:复习巩固三单元的四会句子; 能用完整的句子写出Read and write中五个问题的答句。
难点:根据个人情况给Jack 回信。
三、Teaching Aids
1、各种食物的图片。
2、录音机和录音带。
四、Teaching Procedures:
(一).Preparation. (3m)
   1. Let’s chant. (P39)
   2. Free talk:
     T: What do you do on Saturdays and Sundays?
     Ss: I often…
T: What’s your favourite days?
Ss: Saturday.
     T: What’s your favourite food?
     Ss: I like …
()Pre-reading.(7m)
1. T: (教师总结检查结果) The boy loves Saturday. His favourite day is Saturday. The girl loves Sunday. Her favourite day is Sunday. What’s your favourite day/food/ teacher? (引导学生回答)
2. Play a game.(教师给每组准备三个放词卡的盒子:食物类、星期类、 教师类。请学生抽卡片。其他同学认真看清是属于那个盒子里的。然后提问,如食物类的。S1: What’s your favourite food? 其他学生进行猜词竞赛。猜对之后持卡的学生确认答案: Yes, …is my favourite food.)

()In-reading. (15m)
  1. General reading.
  T: Jack has a pen pal. He often writes letters to him. Here is one of his letters. Please read this letter and answer the questions:
  ① How old is Jack ?
  ② Who is Jack ’s pen pal? (借机讲解英文书信格式。)
2. Detailed reading.
① T: Now read the letter carefully, and answer the questions on the book. Then discuss in pairs .
② Check the answers, Then discuss and solve the difficulties.
3. Read and write.
T: Now you are Zhang Peng. Write a letter to Jack. (P44)
① Ss write. T helps and guides them.
(强调认真书写并注意指导“学校”的书写方法。)
② Check the answers.
4.Listen to the tape. (边听边注意书信格式)
5.Read aloud.
T: Read by yourselves. You can read and translate this letter if you like.
()Post-reading. (10m)
1. Listen and circle.
 ① T: Give you 1 ms to look at the pictures and guess the questions.
 ② Listen carefully.
 ③ Check the answers together.
 ④ Do assessment.
2. Pair work.
① Sing a song: What Do You Have for Lunch?
② Free talk:
T: Are you hungry?
Ss: Yes, I’m hungry. / No, I’m not hungry.
T: I’m very hungry. So I’d like to go to the canteen.
  Look, there are lots of food in the canteen. (出示图片或课件)
③ Ask and answer:
T: What would you like?
S1: I’d like …
T: Would you like some grapes?
S1: No, they are sour.
…  T: Would you like some cabbage?
S1: Yes, it’s healthy.
④ Ss work in pairs.
⑤ Check 2 pairs and do assessment.

  配套练习Recycle 1 C部分。
3. Homework.
参照 Read and write 部分写一封信班内好友或老师,并互换信件. 以后尝试与他人进行书信交流。
