Teaching aims :
1.      To listen, say, read and write the following phrases: cook the meals, water the flowers, sweep the floor, clean the bedroom.
2.      To listen , say , and read the phrase “empty the trash” and the sentences : I’m helpful . I can ...
Important point: To master the phrases.
Difficult points: Can write the phrases correctly and use the sentences
                  fluently.
Teaching steps:
         Step1: Preparation
1. Sing a song : I can help
Listen and sing together.
2 . Let’s do : (四年级上册Unit1 A)
Open the door .  Turn on the light .  Sweep the floor .
Clean the bedroom .  Put up the picture . Clean the bord .
   Listen and do the actions .
3 . Free talk :
T : Look , I can open the door .(边说边做动作)
    What can you do ? ( T引导)
 Ss : I can …
    S1   S2 …
  Step2 : Presentation
1.T(拿一笤帚) : Look , I can sweep the floor .(边说边做动作)
                 Teach : sweep the floor ↗↙(板书)  I can sweep the floor .
   Ss read after T        Ss practise
                 T : Spell it .
                 Ss : s_w_e_e_p  sweep t_h_e  the f_l_o_o_r

2.Teach the other phrases in the same way .
(除了利用动作,实物,同时适时加入了简笔画教学 )

每组中一名学生发指令,一名学生边说边做动作,看
哪组反应快。
E.g.: A: Water the flowers .
B: Yes, I’m helpful. I can water the flowers .
                      (2 ) Look and guess
                         一名学生做动作, 其他学生猜相应的动词词组。
                         教师可引导学生用He∕She can  ...句型进行猜
                             测 。

                    我是家庭小帮手
                    设计一张工作表,安排一星期内打算干的家务活,并用I’m helpful . I can … 介绍。
