教学目标:
1、能够听、说、读、写句型“What are they doing? They are swimming. They are climbing trees.”。
2、能够听、说、认读句子“Here come two tigers. Can tigers really swim. Yes, they can. They're good climbers.”。
3、能够完成Let's check部分的练习。
教学重难点:
1、本课时教学重点是四会掌握句型:“What are they doing? They are swimming / climbing trees.”,难点是“swimming”的拼写。
教具准备:
录音机及本课时磁带、Let's learn词卡、小黑板
教学过程:
一、Preparation
1. Listen and chant. (课本56页Let's chant)
2. 出示B部分词卡,用B部分主要句型练习对话。
设计思路:利用歌谣创设英语学习氛围,将学生的注意力吸引到课堂中,又轻松自然地过渡到对单词和主句型的复习。
二、Pre-reading
1. 教学climbers.
出示词卡climbing:T: What do you see? S: I can see two pandas.
T: What are they doing? S: They're climbing.
T: They're good climbers.(边伸拇指边做攀爬动作)
板书并教学climbers。
2. 教学Here come two tigers. Can tigers really swim?
打开课本63页。T: 两只老虎朝这儿走来,老虎真的会游泳吗?让学生在短文中找一找,猜一猜是第几行,哪一句。指名回答后,板书句子并教读。
设计思路:教师通过动作自然导出新词,并通过找一找猜一猜的形式教学较难句型,帮助学生排除阅读障碍,降低阅读难度。
三、In-reading
1. General reading
T: Read the dialogue quickly. Answer the questions.(小黑板形式出现)
①Where are Sarah, Amy and Chen Jie?
A. Nature park. B. Village.
②How many tigers do they see?
A. Three. B. Two.
③Are pandas good climbers?
A. Yes, they are. B. No, they aren't.
(指名说一说这三个问题的意思)
教师指名回答,根据回答情况予以评价。
设计思路:由简单的口头回答问题,初步感知本课内容,帮助学生树立阅读信心。
2. Detailed reading.
T: Read the dialogue carefully. Answer the questions.
①What are the tigers doing?
②What are the pandas doing?
③Can tigers really swim?
让学生回答以上三个问题,并订正。
3. Read and write.
①完成课本上的问题,教师找学生到黑板上写出答案。
②学生齐读四会句子,教师板书四会句子并强调swimming的书写。
设计思路:让学生在完成较难问题的同时,培养学生解决问题的能力。学生在落实笔头活动的同时注意知道学生的书写。
4. Listen to the tape. 要求学生先静听再跟读,根据学生的朗读情况,教师可领读个别单词或句子。
5. Read aloud. 教师要巡视并做好辅导。
设计思路:听是说的前提,只有听的准才能模仿的准。重点培养学生的语感。
四、Post-reading
1. 分角色朗读。
设计思路:通过分角色朗读,达到学以致用,要求学生注意模仿语音语调。
2. 完成课本63页Let's find out。
让学生两人一组完成表格,并用Can开头的句子练习对话。
设计思路:通过活动进一步练习所学知识,并让学生了解各种动物的特性,培养学生爱护动物的意识。
五、Progress
1. Listen and tick. (课本65页)
2. Homework:书写四会句子。
设计思路:通过Let's check检测学生对本单元所学内容的掌握情况,让学生加深印象。
