一、教学目标与要求:
1.、能听、说、认读Let’s read 1部分的对话并能完成文后判断正误的练习。
2、能根据Let’s find out部分的指示语找到地图中的相应位置并写出场所词。
3、能够听懂、会唱歌曲“How Can I Get to the Zoo?”
二、教学重点、难点:
1、本课时的教学重点是****、二单元主要语言的巩固和发展。
2、本课时的教学难点是Let’s find out部分根据指示语言在地图上确认并书写相应的公共场所。
三、课前准备:
1、教师准备一张标有post office, pet shop, hospital, park, zoo 等场所的简明地图。
2、教师准备录音机和本课时的录音磁带。
四、教学步骤和建议:
Step 1: Preparation.
1. Let’s chant: P2.
How do you go to school?
Sometimes by bike,
 Sometimes by car,
But I never go by train.
2. Free talk:
T:  How do you go to school?
S1: I go by bike. / S2: I go by bus. / S3: I go on foot.
Ss work in pairs.
3.教师出示地图,标出某一点“A”。
T:Now we are here. How can we go to the park / post office?
请学生一边指地图,一边说明路径。
e.g.: Go straight. It’s next to the hospital.
师手指地图上某一地点,说:We are here. We are going to the park. Is it far from here?
引导学生根据地图上的距离回答。
Yes. / No.
教师继续问:
T: How can we go to the park?
Ss: We can go by bike / bus/…           
Step 2: Presentation
一、T: Amy and Chen Jie are going to the park,too. Please read the dialogue  and find out the answers to the questions:
How do they go to the park?
What are they going to do in the park?
Check the answers.
二、Let the Ss read the dialogue again and answer the sentences “Yes” or “No”.
1. Amy and Chen Jie go to the park by bike.  (    )
2. The park is next to the restaurant.        (    )
3. The pet shop is at the south gate.        (    )
4. The ice-skating area is near the north gate. (    )
Play the tape, Ss listen to the tape, and read the dialogue.
Then Ss read the dialogue in pairs.
三、Ss read the dialogue in roles.

Please turn to page 39. Amy and Chen Jie are in the park now. There is a pet shop, an ice-skating area, a ping-pong area and …in the park.
Please read the sentences below. Write down the places.
Check the answers.
