一、 教学目标与要求
1、能够听、说、读、写句子How do you do that? What should you do then? 并能在情景中进行运用。
2、了解英文中先后顺序的表达。
二、 教学重、难点分析
1、本课时需要重点听、说、读、写掌握:
How do you do that?
What should you do then?
2、结合种植经验叙述植物生长过程是本课时的难点,而且在叙述过程中不可避免要遇到一些新词,教师要注意突出教学重点,不要面面俱到。
三、课前准备
1.教师准备Let’s时部分的挂图。
2.教师准备两幅形状相似的植物的图片。
3.学生准备水彩笔、胶水、剪刀等工具。
四、Teaching steps
Step 1 preparation
a) Free talk
What are you going to do On the weekend?
Do you like flowers?
Do you have any flowers at home?
Do you want to plant flowers at home?
How do you plant a flower?
2、出示打乱字母顺序的单词(B Let’s learn),请学生调整字母顺序组合成。
Step2 Presentation
1、 Let’s try
(1) 教师向学生展示Let’s try部分的挂图,依次指着插图进行描述,:The is putting the seeds in the soil.
She is watering theseeds.
She is looking at the sprout.
(2) 教师放录音,指导学生完成Let’s try部分练习。
Girl:I’m going to plant a flower tomorrow.
Boy:How do you do that?
Girl:First.put the seeds in the soil.
Boy:What should you do then?
Girl:Water it.Then wait.You can see the sprout in several days.
2、(1)学生独立完成Let’s时练习后,教师提问:“What should we do now?’’提示学生:“Check the answers.”校对完答案,教师继续提问:“What should you do now?”引导学生回答Learn Let’s talk 115
(2) I am going to plant a flower on the weekend.But I don’t know how
do that.Can you tell me? Who knows?”教师提示学生可以适当用中文解释。如果有学生举手,教师就问:“OK.How do you do that?
引导学生回答。“First,put the seeds in the soil.”然后,教师接着说:“What should I do then? 引导学生回答Water it.
(3)Zhang Peng is talking to his teacher.Now let’s see what they talking about.”学生翻开学生用书,教师放录音,学生跟读。教师解释In several days的意思是几天以后。”教师板书四会句型:How do you do that? What should you do then? 学生仿写。
Step3 Practice
1、 Listen to the tape.

2. Listen point and repeat.
3. Read by yourself.
2、 Ss read the dialogue in roles.
T: Now, I’m teacher, you are zhang peng. Let’s read in roles.
Then change.
3、 Ss work in pairs.
Step 4 production
1. 谈论西瓜(watermelon)、小麦(wheat)等植物的种植过程。然后选几组在班上表演对话。
Eg: How do you plant watermelon?
First ……
Then …. …
2、教师指导学生运用主句型编对话。
A:How do you clean the classroom?
B:First.sweep the floor.
A:What should you do after that?
B:Then clean the desks and chairs.wash the windows.
3、Let’s play
Tell how to plant a tree.
鼓励学生根据前面的主句型来讲述如何种树。
Step5 Progress
a) Sum up
如何用英语表达一件事的操作过程先后顺序的表达。强调主句型的运用。
How do you do that?
What should you do then?
2、慢慢消失的句子
教师把B Let’s talk部分的主要句型写在黑板上。学生闭上眼睛,教师擦掉其中的一个词,学生睁开眼睛,说出擦掉的单词并把句子补充完整。
3、Homework
(1)抄写四会句子。
(2)请学生参照图示在校园或家里种一棵树,并把种植的过程用英语讲述给家长和朋友听。
