3.能够听懂Let’s try部分的录音,完成听音写姓名的练习。
教学重难点
教学重点:熟练使用句型What do you do on the weekend? I usually/often… Sometimes I….谈论周末活动。
教学难点: 对三个频度幅词的准确使用;句型Let’s … together ….的认读和适时使用。

Step 1 Preparation
1、 chant
T: Boys and girls, let’s clap our hands and chant together.
Every weekend I climb mountains.
What do you do? What do you do?
Every weekend I read some books.
What do you do? What do you do?
Every weekend I go shopping.
What do you do? What do you do?
Every weekend I go hiking.
2. 出示词组:go shopping,go hiking, visit grandparents, play the piano, climb mountains, read books, do homework, watch TV, clean my room,全部词组由个别学生读后再齐读。复习巩固所学短语,为下面的内容做好准备。
3.Free talk : 谈论周末
利用上面提示的周末活动,教师引导学生简要回答周末情况:I often clean the rooms ,wash the clothes and go shopping on the weekend. What do you do on the weekend?
教师要时刻留心学生的回答,一旦有同样的周末活动,教师就要适时地提醒:Jack and Tom, you can play football together.(如Jack ,Tom都回答周末经常踢球。)
Step 2 Presentation
1. T: Oh, this is John’s weekend. (John 刚刚回答教师What do you do on the weekend?的提问。)Look, whose weekend is it? Please listen and decide. (听录音课本P.8Let’s try关于Mike和Zhang Peng的周末活动,请学生根据听力录音找到各自的主人。
教师出示Let’s try 中的内容,请学生自己朗读词组。
播放Let’s try部分录音,学生根据听到的内容写出人名。
再次放录音,核对答案,同时让学生从听觉上感知本节课的主要句型,
让学生对Let’s talk中的新句子进行初步感知。
2.教师呈现Let’s try 的挂图,请两名学生分别扮演Zhang Peng和Mike,引导其他同学用What do you do on the weekend?提问他们的周末活动,这两名同学要根据挂图内容做出相应回答。(也可以利用课件,学生提问后,直接点击答语。)
引导学生用What do you do on the weekend?询问教师的周末安排,然后教师分别用usually often sometimes谈论自己的周末活动:I usually / often … ;Usually I …;Sometimes I …; I sometimes…
初步在情景中应用问句What do you do on the weekend?
在教师的回答中进一步掌握频度副词的恰当运用。
3. 学习对话
教师说:What do John and Chen Jie do on the weekend? Let’s listen to the dialogue and find out the answers.

教师指着上面完成后的表格说:John sometimes goes hiking. Chen Jie often goes hiking. What does John say?
呈现句子:Let’s go together next Sunday. 请学生认读,教师提示意思。
4 usually, often和sometimes
(1). 教师借助三张周历按usually, often和sometimes的顺序来解释三个频度副词的含义和区别:I wash clothes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in a week. So I usually wash clothes.( 同时周历上将这几天用红笔圈出,之后,出示usually并用五颗星来标注。)I clean rooms on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in a week. So I often clean rooms. ( 同时周历上将这几天用红笔圈出,之后,出示often并用四颗星来标注。)I go shopping only on Sunday and Saturday in a week. So sometimes I go shopping. ( 同时周历上将这几天用红笔圈出,之后,出示sometimes并用两颗星来标注。)
(2). 教师指向周历和星注请学生跟读:usually↗,usually↘. I usually do homework. Usually I do homework. 同样形式跟读often和sometimes的相关句子。
(3). T: What do you usually / often / sometimes do on the weekend? Please choose an activity label and answer.请学生从众多的活动词条中选出一张来回答,并紧跟着问:Is it true? 如果学生作否定回答,教师马上再追问:What do you usually / often / sometimes do on the weekend ?如果学生作肯定回答,教师作出简单评价,如Good girl! You’re helpful! It’s not good for your body!之类。

1.学生四人一组,互相询问:What do you do on the weekend?要问到同组的每一个成员,找到可以在一起度周末的伙伴。
完成填空: I usually _________ on the weekend. Sometimes I _____________ . I can _________ with _____________ . I can _________ with _____________ .
让学生在交流中进一步应用语言,并通过书写及时巩固。
2.Jack’s Bad Weekend
T: Look, this is Jack’s weekend. Let’s try to read together for 2 times.
Jack’s bad weekend
Hello! I’m Jack. This is my weekend.
I usually get up at 10:30 a.m.
I never eat breakfast.
I never play sports.
I often play computer games for 3 hours(小时).
Sometimes I do homework.
I always go to bed after 11:00 p.m.
教师再作选择性地朗读和适当地解释,如”I often play computer games for 3 hours.Sometimes I do homework. ”Jack spends too much time in playing computer games and too little time in doing homework等。
T: Is Jack’s weekend bad or good?
(设计说明:a. 这篇小短文不仅仅是本课时内容的巩固,还有终点时间的复习,更有never 和always两个相关频度副词的扩展。借助教师的肢体语言、上下文和另外三个频度副词的理解经验,学生能很好地对整篇小短文作出理解了。b. 这既是一篇英语阅读理解,又是一篇小型的思想感悟文章,最后的It’s a bad weekend. 的判断让学生对照自己的生活方式思考自己的生活习惯。)
Wish you have a good weekend. 请同桌间以选择的情况对周末活动进行互问互答,并作出It’s good/ bad.的简单判断.
教师请个别学生回答,全体学生提问,教师再对他的选择回答作适当的评判。
