Step 1: Preparation
1. Sing the song: P24
2.Free talk : A: Which season do you like best?
B: Winter.
A: Why?
B: It's cold. I can play with snow.
SS work in pairs like these.
Then check some pairs.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Teacher continue the dialogue: I like summer best .Why? Can you guess?
S: You can swim.(I can swim.)
T: Yes, I can swim in the sea.
T show the word card: swim
Teach the word, S read after the T
2. 结合句型:Which season do you like best ?
Summer . I can swim in the sea in summer .进行练习。Work in groups.
3. In this way teach the other new words and phrases: fly kites、skate、make a snowman、plant trees.同时结合句子进行操练.

1. Group work(P19):(出示天气情况图)
a. Find out the weather,ask and answer.

b. Make a survey:
A: What would you like to do?
B: I'd like to ...
生在表格内填写采访到的信息。
c. SS give a report like this:
Four students likes to climb mountains. ... ..
2. Good to know:
a. Read the passage by yourselves;
b. Talk about the difficult points;
c. Ask and answer like this:
A: What season is it in March in Beijing?
B: It's spring. What season is it in Sydney?
A: It's fall.
