教学目标:
1. 能够听说认读句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is in February. Is your birthday in February,too?No,my birthday is in…
2. 能够使用句型:“How many birthdays are there in January?There are…”并进行生日情况的调查并填写调查表。
3. 能够听懂、会唱歌曲“When Is Your Birthday?”。
4. 了解中西方主要节日所在月份及父母、同伴的生日。
教学重点:
强化****课时的句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is in…并听、说、认读新句型:Is your birthday in …, too?
教学难点:
引导学生根据实际情况使用多样化的表达方式获得某人生日的有关情况。
教学准备:
录音机、P26Chant的录音带和本课的录音带、月份大转盘、生日调查表。
教学过程:
Step1. Preparation
1. 全班吟唱第26页的歌谣边说边做动作。
2. Let’s say: “Which month is this?”
教师出示标有12个月份的大转盘,在转动指针前提问:Which month is it?让学生猜测,如:“It’s January/February.”。
3. 师生对话
T:Hello,A. When is your birthday?
SA:It’s in January.
T:What about you, B? When is your birthday?
SB: It’s in … 如此多提问几名学生。
然后学生竖排开火车问答。
Step2. Presentation
1. 情景导入:呈现 Is your birthday in January, too ?
T:Hello,A. When is your birthday?
SA:It’s in January.
T:What about you, B? Is your birthday in January, too?
SB: No,it’s in March.等。
教师重复Is your birthday in January, too? 并将其板书,确保学生明确其含义。
2. 机械操练。
教师出示A Let’s learn的教学挂图与学生进行问答,如:
When is Wu Yifan’s birthday? It’s in January.
Is Sarah’s birthday in January, too? No.
When is Sarah’s birthday? It’s in March.等。
3. 意义操练。
学生四人一组,各人在一张纸上写出自己的生日月份,由组长牢记。另外小组的组长询问该组组长:
S1: A, when is your birthday,A?
A:My birthday is in …..
S1: What about B? Is B’s birthday in …., too?
A: No. B’ birthday is in ….
S1: What about C? Is C’s birthday in …, too?
A: Yes. …..
如此操练三到四组。推选一组课堂表演。
4. Let’s try.
教师说:Amy is our friend. When is her birthday? Is her birthday in January, too? What about her mother and her father? Let’s listen to the tape and write the months.
学生听录音,填空。师生核对答案。
Step3. Practice
Let’s talk.
1. 听音答题。
教师出示Mike, Amy, Zhang Peng的头饰,提问:When is Mike’s birthday? What about Amy? What about Zhang Peng? Let’s listen and find out.
教师放Let’s talk部分的录音,学生合上课本,听两遍后回答以上问题。音。
2. 听音正音。学生看对话跟读该对话。
3. 合作共建。学生小组合作,分角色读对话。
4. 表演展示。学生首先分角色朗读两组,然后将自己和同伴的实际姓名和生日替换对话中的相应部分。教师请几组学生表演他们的对话。
Step4. Production
1. “我是小记者”活动,教师组织学生“采访”其他同学的生日月份,计入调查表。
最后邀请部分“小记者”做“现场报道”,如“There are three birthdays in May.”等。
2. Let’s find out.
几位“小记者”做“现场报道”后,教师问全体学生:Now how many birthdays are there in October?学生举手说:Me! 教师板书October,数一下人数说:Oh, you’re so lucky. China’s birthday is in October, too. 教师出示国庆节图片。教师板书China’s birthday 并说:China’s birthday ,We call it “National Day”.将准备好的 National Day卡片贴在板书China’s birthday上面,学生跟读National Day,然后师生、生生问答:When is National Day?It’s in October.
完成Match, ask and answer. 师生共同核对答案。
教师可以扩展,如:Halloween,Teacher’s Day等。
Step5. Progress
完成《基础训练》中的相应题目。核对答案。
Homework
1. 学生回家后对家长的生日进行调查,为下一课做准备。
2. 在网上或报刊杂志上查找更多关于节日的信息, 小组之间互相交流。
