教学内容: A Read and write C. Pronunciation
教学目标:
1. 能够听、说、写句子:when is your birthday ?It’s in may .My birthday is in Jun.Uncle Bill’s birthday is in Jun ,too.
2. 能够听懂、会说Read and write 部分的对话并能够完成对话下面的表格。
3. 能够总结字母组合 ear, eer, ch, sh的发音规律,并能够朗读Pronunciation部分的例词。
教学重点:
本课时的教学重点是掌握四会句型:when is your birthday ?It’s in may .My birthday is in Jun.Uncle Bill’s birthday is in Jun ,too.
教学难点:
本课时的教学难点是正确书写四会句子 。
教学准备:
1. 教师准备空白的生日记录表格,打印好学生人手一份。

2. 教师准备家庭成员的单词卡片。
3. 准备三年级下册第三单元的歌曲磁带和本课的磁带。
4. 学生准备家庭成员的照片(或者自己作画也可)。
教学过程:
Step1. Preparation
1. 播放三年级下册第三单元的歌曲“Father and Mother ”。学生听唱。
2. Free talk. 师生之间自由对话。可参考如下语言:
T: How many people are there in your family ?
S:Four / Five.
T:Who’s that man ?
S:He’s my father.
T:When is your father’s birthday ?
S:It’s in Jun.
T:Who’s that boy ?
S:Oh, it’s me.
T:When is your birthday ?
S:It’s in July.
Step2. Pre-reading
1. 教授家庭成员的单词。
教师出示John的图片,说:Look , this is John. 出示家庭成员的单词卡片,说:Look , there are seven people in his family . Please come and meet his family .师生问答:
T: Who’s he / she?
S: He / She is John’s father / mother / uncle….
然后教师单独指向uncle的单词卡片,说: He’s John’s uncle .His name is Bill. So we can call him Uncle Bill.
教师板书,教读,提醒学生注意Uncle Bill的表达方式与中文有何不同,以及在书写时要注意大写)。
以此方法教学:Aunt Mary, Cousin Alice.
2. 教学a birthday chart of our family.
教师把黑板上的单词卡片集中在一起,戴上John的头饰,说:This is our family. Do you want to know the birthday of my family? You can ask me. 让学生通过提问获取需要的信息,教师边回答边在黑板上的卡片下面写上月份。
当学生完成所有问答后,教师整理黑板上的内容,划上格子,形成表格,说:This is our birthday chart. 重复几遍,教读,板书。
Step3. In-reading
1. General reading
出示阅读问题,让学生略读短文,完成判读题。
( ) John’s birthday is in May.
( ) John’s mother’s birthday is in May.
( ) Cousin Alice’s birthday is in June.
学生带着问题快速阅读文章,做题。师生核对答案。
2.Detailed reading.
教师出示下列问题:
1) How many people are there in John’s family?
2) Whose birthday is in June?
3) Whose birthday is in May?
学生带着问题,仔细阅读课文。教师指导学生在原文相关信息处勾画。
核对答案。学生同时读出课文原文。
3. Read and write.
学生先读懂文后的练习1和练习2。小组合作再次阅读,同时完成这两个练习。对于练习2,教师要让学生同桌进行检查,注意用词和标点准确无误。
4. Listen to the tape. 教师播放录音,学生跟读。
5. Read aloud. 学生先小组齐声朗读,然后个人大声朗读,培养语感。教师巡阅。
6. 教师问:Any problems? 解答学生提出的有关疑难问题。同时,解释一下文中:I am making a birthday chart for my family. 的含义。
Step4. Post-reading.
Make a family birthday chart of your own.
学生取出各自的空白生日记录表格,教师在黑板上先作示范:There are 5 people in my family. My father’s birthday is in March. (在空白表格中的March栏中填写My father),等等。
学生填充各自的表格,完成后指导学生小组之间互相问答:
When is your father’ birthday?
Is your mother’s birthday in March, too? ….
Step5. Progress
1. 当堂规范书写四会句子。
2. 如果有时间,教学Pronunciation
教师出示Pronunciation部分挂图,引导学生认读含有字母组合ear ,eer ,的例词,并归纳出ear 和 eer的发音规律。学生尝试读,听录音跟读。用类似方法教学ch ,sh的发音规律。

3. 完成《基础训练》中的相关书写性练习。
Homework
对照课堂上设计好的自己家庭成员的生日表格,回家用英语转述给父母或者同学听。
